Blake is a 3rd generation San Diego native and attended high school locally at both Torrey Pines and La Costa Canyon High School. Afterwards he spent 2 years rendering uncompensated charitable service in Brazil. 

In 2011 Blake graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from BYU Hawaii, where he also received the Dean's Award for Excellence in General Business Knowledge. After graduation, he returned to California to work as the project manager for the startup company, during which time he was also involved in the local entrepreneurship community, serving as the San Diego Chapter Director for Startup Grind, a global entrepreneurship network. In 2013 Blake went for another degree, accepting the Dean's Scholarship to attend Thomas Jefferson School of Law. During law school he continued to work full-time as an office manager for the Encinitas branch of National Planning Corporation (which became LPL Financial in 2018). 

In 2017, he was admitted to the California Bar and began practicing law with a focus on trusts, businesses, and probate. In 2020, he became a U.S. tax attorney and was admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court.

As a financial professional Blake's mission is to help individuals and businesses build a robust financial future. He regularly attends industry training, continuing education events, and certification programs to ensure he is always up to date with current investment guidelines and tax laws.

Blake lives in Encinitas with his wife and son.
